Ragdolls are amazing cats and are one of America’s favorite breeds. They are known for their laid-back temperament and are loyal, fun-loving, intelligent, gentle, and are often called the dog of the cat world. CFA has ranked them number one. TICA has ranked them number two. Ragdolls make excellent therapy cats and some of ours are certified working therapy cats.

Ragdolls are low maintenance with a low maintenance hair coat. They need to be groomed once or twice a week. They are semi long haired soft and silky. They love to be brushed and combed if it is part of their routine. The more you groom them the more they will love you. Ragdolls don't shed very much. The temperature, season and diets have an impact on how much they will shed. They are easy to take care of and are a very healthy breed.

Ragdolls are indoor only cats. The trusting and affectionate temperament that makes it such a wonderful companion leaves them defenseless aginst predators. They lack the streed smarts to protect themselves from other amimals or traffic speeding down the street.
